Good Morning:
I have received the following questions from a student. (From now on: post questions that are relevant to everyone in this forum to ensure that all students have the same level of knowledge.)
Student: "I am working on your lecture materials and have a few questions. In the first chapter there is an assignment called "Short essay question". We are supposed to give a clear example from industry in the field of energy transition to explain why an emergent strategy is more advantageous than an intended, planned or prescribed strategy. Is it important for the exam to master concrete examples from industry, and if so, which industry and which issues?"
Answer: In the exam, I will either ask questions about industries that we have discussed in the class, or I will let you choose the industry, but then exclude industries for which I have provided sample solutions.
Student: "My next question is whether the MCQ questions in the self-assessment quiz will be the same difficulty level as in the exam?"
Answer: You can check this in the mock exam.
Student: "You have marked a section containing optional topics as "Recommended Reading/Videos (optional)". Is this relevant for the exam?"
Answer: In the first section, this is aimed at students who do not have this knowledge from their undergraduate studies. It was provided upon the request of students from previous semesters. Mastering this will often help you to understand more advanced topics.
Kind regards
