Air cargo is vital in today's global economy, including for e-commerce, which relies on fast, reliable delivery across borders. Air cargo allows businesses to offer rapid shipping and manage time-sensitive deliveries efficiently. In an era of rising consumer demand and globalization, air cargo is crucial for sustaining international trade and e-commerce services.
Students participating in the BIP should bring prior knowledge of logistics. Within the logistics domain, the BIP deepens the understanding of air cargo. The program consists of lectures, industry seminars, and site visits to convey an overview of air cargo. Students will be challenged with a teaching case study. Furthermore, a group project will be pursued during the week, and the results will be presented on the final day as a poster presentation. Social activities will bring the participants together to build networks.
