In dieser Vorlesung werden die Organisationen von Finanzdienstleistern vorgestellt und die makro- sowie mikroökonomischen Aspekte dieser Industrie analysiert und diskutiert.
Insbesondere geht es darum, eine Begründung für die Existenz von Finanzdienstleistern zu erarbeiten und diese, vor dem Hintergrund eines schnell wandelnden globalen Wirtschaftssystems, zu argumentieren.
Dabei sollen die Teilnehmerinnen/Teilnehmer der Veranstaltung aus der Rolle des Vorstandsorgans die heterogenen Entscheidungssituationen betrachten und verstehen, um zu lernen, was modernes Bankmanagement bedeutet.

This lecture introduces the organisations of financial service providers and analyses and discusses the macro- and microeconomic aspects of this industry.
In particular, the aim is to develop a rationale for the existence of financial service providers and to argue this against the background of a rapidly changing global economic system.
In doing so, the participants of the course should look at and understand the heterogeneous decision-making situations from the perspective of management board members in order to learn what modern bank management means.
