Circular Futures
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab
How can we shape a circular built environment?

CIRCULAR FUTURES
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab
How can we shape a circular built environment?
In the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab, we focus on your future as designers of a circular built environment.
How can we plan, build, use and transform buildings and cities in ways that consume fewer resources and keep materials and building components in circulation? Where does this not work today, and what could we change?
We draw on your skills and knowledge from architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, infrastructure and environmental studies to explore these challenges and develop new ideas and scalable entrepreneurial solutions.
Because you shape the future of the built environment – through new products and services, new processes, business models, or even your own start-up.
Working in teams of 3–4, you will turn a challenge into your own idea and develop it into a venture concept, prototype and business model with a positive impact on our built environment over the course of the semester.
The module concludes with the presentation of your idea – your pitch – at the House of Science and Transfer (HoST) at Frankfurt UAS.
The modul is bilingual (Englisch, German), contributions and work can be made in both languages.
