Sometimes, you will be required to create a handout which accompanies your presentation. On the other hand, you may wish to create a handout on your own accord to help support your topic.
Here are some of the main reasons to use a handout to accompany your presentation:
- To create a summary of everything you talk about in your presentation
- To provide extra visual aids, such as pictures or graphs
- To give an overview of definitions of difficult vocabulary that you think your audience may not know
- To provide a list of sources
