The course Simulation in Logistics gives an introduction to the method of simulation in production and logistics. It consists of two double lessons. The first gives an overview of the theoretical background and practical examples. In the second double lesson there is an introduction to the simulation software Plant Simulation with practical exercises.
The examination is designed as a group work (3 persons) in which the group carries out a simulation study. This includes the creation of a specification, the creation of the simulation model, on the basis of which experiments are carried out to solve the problem. The group work is concluded with a 30-minute presentation of the results.
