In this course, you gain basic knowledge about HMI as part of a systems engineering process, the psychological conditions of a user, how to describe the behavior of the user, how to derive requirements for an interface, and how to test the usability of an interface. After an introduction, the student teams work on a research project.

Human-computer interaction (HCI) - is where humans meet computer systems. Research in the field of HCI is concerned with the way people interact with computers and design technologies. In addition to insights from computer science, the field combines knowledge from psychology, ergonomics, cognitive science, sociology, and art.
