Lernergebnis / Kompetenzen:

Datenbanken spielen in betrieblichen Anwendungslandschaften eine zentrale Rolle.

Die Veranstaltung vermittelt Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten zur Gestaltung und Nutzung von Datenbanken als zentraler Basis betrieblicher Informationsverarbeitung.

Studierende erwerben ein fundiertes Wissen über das relationale Datenmodell und dessen praktische Anwendung. Sie verfügen über die Fähigkeit, Datenstrukturen betrieblicher Anwendungen zu analysieren, zu konzipieren und zu implementieren. Durch praktische Übungen an einem konkreten Datenbankmanagementsystem erlernen sie die Standard-Datenbanksprache SQL.

In den Übungen werden gemeinsam Lösungswege erarbeitet und Ergebnisse präsentiert.

- Bedeutung von Datenbanken für die Informationsverarbeitung in Unternehmen
- Datenbanksystem, Datenbank und Datenbank-Management-System (DBMS)
- ANSI-SPARC / 3-Ebenen-Architektur
- Relationales Datenmodell: Prinzipien und Bausteine
- Entwurf relationaler Datenbanken
- Datenmodellierung mit dem Entity Relationship-Modell und mittels Relationen / Tabellen
- Normalformen und Normalisierung
- Architektur von Datenbank-Anwendungen

Khalighi: English Lower-Intermediate A2 - WiSe 2025/26

This A2 English course helps learners strengthen their communication skills and gain confidence in everyday situations. Using Roadmap A2+ Students' Book from Pearson, students develop their grammar, vocabulary, and all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—through engaging tasks and real-life contexts.

Lessons focus on practical communication, enabling students to talk about familiar topics such as daily routines, past experiences, future plans, travel, work, and personal interests. The course also includes pronunciation practice, interactive speaking activities, and online exercises to reinforce learning.

By the end of the course, students will be able to understand short conversations, express opinions, describe events and experiences, and write simple connected texts on familiar subjects.
