This workshop helps you deal with English when it is spoken quickly or with different accents. We will look at simple tips and strategies to improve your listening skills and make it easier to understand real-life spoken English, even when not every word is clear.

In
this short workshop, we will practice some useful phrases you can learn for
giving presentations (also known as “signposting language”).

Is there a difference between "15th November" and "November 15th"? And what about writing "15th" or just the number "15"? And how do we say dates out loud correctly? In this 60-minute workshop, we will take a look at how to correctly write and pronounce dates.

We often use graphs and charts to visualise our data. This can be data
from a research project or even simple survey results. In this
mini-workshop, we will take a look at useful words and phrases for
describing such visuals to an audience, such as in a lecture or at a
conference.
