hints and tips on how to small talk in English, including useful phrases
and common topics.

How can translation tools support you when writing emails in English? What should you keep in mind to ensure your message is clear and appropriate? This workshop gives a brief overview of key points for writing effective English emails and shows how to use DeepL as a helpful tool throughout the writing process.

In
this short workshop, we will practice some useful phrases you can learn for
giving presentations (also known as “signposting language”).


Is there a difference between "15th November" and "November 15th"? And what about writing "15th" or just the number "15"? And how do we say dates out loud correctly? In this 60-minute workshop, we will take a look at how to correctly write and pronounce dates.

We often use graphs and charts to visualise our data. This can be data
from a research project or even simple survey results. In this
mini-workshop, we will take a look at useful words and phrases for
describing such visuals to an audience, such as in a lecture or at a
conference.
