Objective:
The goal of this class is to train you in using statistical methods to analyze data. After taking the class, when you're faced with a new data-analysis problem, you should be able to (1) select appropriate statistical method, (2) use Python frameworks to conduct the analysis, (3) critically evaluate the results, and (4) communicate them to collaborators and to non-statisticians. Additionally, students will explore the basics of longitudinal and textual data analysis.
