We often have to give rules - orally or in written form - at our university. For example, we need to tell students what they are allowed to or not allowed to do in the library, what they must do for their lectures and seminars, or what they should do if they want to go on a semester abroad - and much more. In this workshop, we will practice useful phrases for giving rules in English (with a grammar focus on modal verbs) so that you can feel confident when explaining rules to people in the future.
